News Biogas Plants in France 2017 to 2025. News
Up to 2017, there are 260 agricultural biogas units,
and 42 territorial projects running.
The current rate of new projets is around 75 per year.
Plus 129 biogas units in landfills, 14 in domestic waste facilities,
93 in Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) and 92 in water treatment
units for industries or agro-industries
More than 420 biogas units were connected to the electric grid
(an annual increase of 25%), for a total capacity of 375MW.
162 projects were pending, for a cumulative capacity of 116MW
The aim is 1500 Plants by 2025.
